R. Kelly Guilty Of Child Porn Charges And Acquitted On The Rest

A New York court has already sentenced R Kelly to 30 years behind bars on various charges - and now an Illinois jury has had their say: guilty of six charges against him, acquitted of seven others. The Illinois Federal Court trial of Kelly centered around charges of producing child pornography (videoing sexual encounters with minors) as well as charges of conspiracy and enticement. Breaking it down: Kelly was convicted on three of four child pornography counts and acquitted on charges that he conspired to obstruct justice at his 2008 trial which stemmed from a 2002 state case. He was also found guilty on three of five counts of enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity. Sentencing will be held at a later date. Kelly's attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, has said she is considering filing an appeal.
