Meek Mill Makes Dramatic Social Media Exit, Leaves Twitter “Forever”

Meek Mill announced he was leaving Twitter over the weekend. The Philly rapper left the platform due to “too many bots and weird people.” "I'ma deactivate twitter forever," Meek said just before leaving. He stated he wanted to use a site "where there are more positive vibes" instead. Meek stated he wanted to be on a platform that includes “building, creating, and motivation!” He then instructed his social media manager to “turn this off forever,” before adding, “ima [sic] take over my YouTube account to replace me interacting with [supporters!] Too many bots and weird people.” It isn’t the first time Meek has left Twitter, he vanished from Twitter and Instagram in January 2021. He returned before leaving again in November 2021.
