Nets Fined For COVID-19 Protocols

The Brooklyn Nets are being reprimanded by the NBA.The team was fined 50-thousand dollars on Monday because they let Kyrie Irving into their locker room during Sunday's home game against the Knicks. Irving is unvaccinated, and the Barclays Center still requires people that work at the arena to have the vaccine. Irving was allowed in the stands of the arena because there is no longer a mandate preventing unvaccinated fans from attending games. The league says that the locker room is part of a team's workplace, while the stands are not.
