Kyrie Irving Hires Stepmother As Agent

According to reports, professional basketball player Kyrie Irving, 29, has recently changed his representation and hired his stepmother, Shetellia Riley Irving, as his new agent. Reportedly, Shetellia Riley Irving is the vice president of ad sales at BET and is believed to be the only Black female agent representing a player in the NBA. Kyrie Irving has previously been represented by Roc Nation and sports agent Jeff Wechsler. It’s unclear what prompted the Brooklyn Nets guard to switch up his representation but Irving is definitely someone who likes to do things his own way.
