Kanye West Surprises Kim Kardashian With Hologram Of Her Late Dad

Kim Kardashian received an emotional birthday present from her husband Kanye West.

The reality star, who celebrated her 40th birthday earlier this month, was completely surprised when the “Stronger” rapper presented her with a lifelike hologram of her deceased father, Robert Kardashian, who died from cancer in 2003. Kim shared the gift on Twitter, calling it “a special surprise from heaven.”

"For my birthday, Kanye got me the most thoughtful gift of a lifetime,” she tweeted. “A special surprise from heaven. A hologram of my dad. It is so lifelike and we watched it over and over, filled with lots so tears and emotion.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet continued, ”I can't even describe what this meant to me and my sisters, my brother, my mom and closest friends to experience together. Thank you so much Kanye for this memory that will last a lifetime."

Kim also shared a clip of the virtual reunion between her and her father, whose hologram shared a heartwarming message on her special day. "You're 40 and all grown up," Robert’s hologram says. "You look beautiful, just like when you were a little girl. I watch over you and your sisters and brother — and the kids — every day."

While recalling memories from Kim’s childhood, the hologram starts to dance to Barry Mann’s “Who Put the Bomp,” before praising Kim for her “commitment to become a lawyer and carry on my legacy.”

Weirdly, the hologram also compliments West, calling him “the most genius man in the world.”

The hologram closes its message, saying, “Keep doing what you're doing, Kimberly, you are a beautiful soul. Know that I am very proud of you and I am always with you.”

As sweet as the gesture was, the clip received mixed reactions from followers. Some thought West’s gift was “tone-deaf” while others didn’t find an issue with it.
